Well, let me start by saying, I am not happy with her DNA “report” at all! I didn’t receive a DNA “report” as I did before and I emailed them. All the information is on their website and it’s not in a printable format, no downloadable PDF, and they’re calling it a report. I absolutely do not agree that it’s a report. I ordered this to have something I could download and print to put in her file with all her other stuff.
Remember this is what the report from the first DNA test looked like I had done on our old dog, we lost him due to Lymphoma 🙁 I miss that old boy! Look at his cute face down there and be sure to look at the mix of dog he was! LOL
So, I sent the email to WisdomPanel and this was their reply. It didn’t say it wouldn’t come with a report, but they’re clearly not ready to accept orders and they are!
When I attempted to print it was gonna be bout 25+ pages. Every full page would include their footer of the site. It looked stupid and wasn’t professional at all. Mars should be very professional especially for the price of $159.00 for the Premium DNA Test. I did only pay $149 because I searched the net for a promo code and found one for $10 off.
To say the least I was very aggravated about that. So, I filed for a refund in June through PayPal and if you don’t care that the “report” is online then by all means go for it. But if you’re like me and need this for your purebred dog I would suggest looking someplace else, because they do not offer an actual report you can print to put with your file. Especially, if that Genetics part is important like it was for us.
With that being said, I’m grateful for Paypal because I’m going to redo her DNA and use the refund to do so. I want to have a professionally done report for her file. It’s important for breeding to show that she’s clear and I’m glad to know she’s clear of all the genetic testing done with 1 inconclusive. But, I can’t log in to the account every time to show a potential stud owner that she’s clear and is a good breed.
I will update when I find a new place to do her DNA and hopefully it’s not more expensive. But, I’ll do my due diligence to question the company on how you receive the report and check reviews as well.
